Funny or Die
Will Ferrell and Adam McKay created this online comedy platform in 2007. We completely redesigned the brand identity and website, which now allows visitors to easily navigate and explore Funny or Die’s exclusive content. After the new site launched, desktop and mobile traffic doubled, turning Funny or Die into a premier online destination for comedy.
Creative director turned chef, Lauren Godfrey, has an insatiable appetite for delicious food, and a passion for storytelling and pretty pictures. We worked with Lauren to develop and launch her food blog, We Golden, which focuses on sharing custom recipes that prove healthy, nutritious food can be both beautiful and delicious.
For photographer Alex Farnum, we partnered with TAR Studio to design an online space to showcase his work. We worked closely with Alex to develop a clean, functional aesthetic that highlights his evocative photography and cinematography.
Our passion for digital publishing and our obsession with Batman inspired us to create our very own comic book iPad app. Users can read and explore their digital comic book collections, and dive deeper into the lives of their favorite heroes and villains by accessing in-depth character bios and related stories.
For his online gallery, Brooklyn-based artist and lecturer, Stephen Shaheen, wanted visitors to be able to view his latest art, design, and architectural work, which incorporates both manual and digital processes.
The Shoto iPhone app makes it easy for friends and family to automatically share their digital photos and photo albums. For Shoto’s identity, website, and app, we created a modern, functional aesthetic designed to make the photo sharing process a snap.
Nicholas is an award-winning designer and front-end developer living in Chicago, IL. For over 10 years, Nicholas has worked with a variety of agencies and clients to create effective and innovative design solutions. He approaches each project with an enthusiastic, collaborative style and enjoys being part of the entire process from concept to execution.
His work showcases a passion for crafting thoughtful, expressive designs and translating them into intuitive UI/UX and interactive experiences. Nicholas’ work has been featured in various design publications including Communication Arts, GD USA, HOW Magazine, and Print Magazine and was recently featured in Typographic Design: Form and Communication, 5th Edition.
